Kalpak make Uniaxial compression tester is a universal application test apparatus useful for making studies involving load vs displacement measurement on any type of material. It is basically comprised of a variable speed motorized load frame coupled with state of the art digital load & displacement indicator. The front panel digital displays provide easy viewability during the test process. The load measurement is done using accurate & the linear transducer measures sensitive strain gauge type load cell & displacement. The load frame is basically a two column frame fitted with a upper platen which can be height adjusted to suit operation. The loading during testing is effected by raising the center ram. The speed of the ram is adjustable & controlled by the built in micro-controller as it is driven by efficient stepper motor & its digital drive. The unit has provision of the rs 232 compatible interface for pc communication. The data acquisition & analysis software for recording the load vs displacement data is available. It provides data in graphical as well as tabular format & also provides printouts of the test results.
