The MASS FLOW based Micro Leak Tester MELD-4000 senses flow rate. It uses the method of Thermal Mass Flow measurement to test leaks. Mass Flow Testing is useful where leak is specified in standard flow units, with part to part internal volume variations, where test pressure causes test part deflection with high leakage flow. Thermal mass flow meter automatically compensates for variations in pressure & temperature & measures the actual mass of gas leaked.

Because of its low flow sensitivity, it is well suited for detecting small leaks or leaks in large volume enclosures. This method is based on a single point measurement, which is more accurate & can be completed in less time. The impact of uncontrolled variables is further reduced. Thermal mass flow meter provides a fast & reliable measurement of the leak flow in standardized units of mass. It gives electronic output, no dials or gauges to be misread & is portable & easy to use for in-process testing.

The table indicates details like Product Code, Customer Code number, Test Timings set for Fill, Settle, test and Exhaust cycles. Exhaust, Delay Set and Group Set. The data table also provides details such as Test Date and Time, Set test Pressure, Set Pressure difference, Actual Leak as well as Accept/Reject Status.
