 Kalpak instruments and Controls, Pune as an extension of the manufacture of Universal Testing Machines offers Retrofit and upgrade helps users of Mechanical/ hydraulic/ electrical tensile testers/Universal Testers. The retrofitting increases utility and useful life of a old machine while retaining the existing mechanical structure. Kalpak also provides the user option to incorporate additional tests requirements not covered by the present machine due to its limitations in technology or capacity.  The automated data acquisition, analysis and reporting system   is makes it very useful for every company with Quality System as per ISO standards.

Four Kalpak Upgrade packages are offered tailored to meet varying budget constraints, Machine working conditions and Up gradation requirements of the users. Kalpak Retrofit packages provide the PC and Printer interface and software for optimum data collection and analysis as its basic feature while adding on other capabilities as per User requirements to convert their machines to state of the art  Universal testing Machines with online data acquisition, analysis capabilities.
The Kalpak DA Upgrade is an add-on package that adds data acquisition capability to your present system. Kalpak DA Upgrade is ideal if the machine is in sound condition both electronically and mechanically. The Machine is equipped with Kalpak UTM Test  Software that offers features such as Real time display of Test data, Test Curves and data analysis such as calculation of parameters like tensile strength, percentage elongation, proof stress, Young’s modulus, Comparative study of various test results can be done using features like multi graphs, Bar Graphs/ Optional XBAR/R Chart and SQC graphs, Software Pass word protection, Test Data saving and reference as user friendly EXCEL/ACCESS files, User Friendly Report Screen as well as  Report designer Screen  for  customized layout design of Test results. Automatic calculation of many critical test parameters reduce the mathematical calculations to a great extent and hence save the overall test time.
The Kalpak PC Control Upgrade provides full machine control via the interface card on PC in addition to all the features offered by Kalpak DA Upgrade.
The Kalpak Electronics Upgrade is for users whose machines are in good mechanical condition, but who want to upgrade their electronics with state-of-the-art controls. We replace the existing control electronics with our control electronics and UTM Test software. On many systems, the motor and drives are replaced with high performance units. Our new advanced electronic controller provides you with continuously variable speeds, high accuracy, faster data acquisition rates, and all the benefits of software control.
Kalpak Comprehensive is primarily for older systems. The upgraded system is completely refurbished to get it in top working condition.
